• To reduce the risk of SIDS: Place your baby on their back to sleep.   In a cot in the same room as you, for the first 6 months.

• Keep your baby’s head uncovered – place your baby in the “feet to foot” position, with their feet at the end of the crib or cot.

• Do not let your baby get too hot or cold.

• Sleep bag- Do not use if the child can climb out of the cot.

• Do not use in combination with a cot duvet or blanket. Take into account the room temperature and the child’s sleepwear. Overheating can endanger the life of your child. Do not use if a child’s head can pass through the neck opening when fastened for use.

• Ensure the neck and arm openings are securely fastened. Keep away from fire. Stop using at first signs of damage.
