Did you know that the very first Barbie maintained an angle of looking to her side, and never looking straight in front? Because during the earlier times, that gesture of women looking on their side were thought of as appealing, very womanly and truly stylish, and thus the reason why Mattel agreed to take it on for their Barbie dolls. Barbie instantly made it to the top since they were the only dolls that were not designed as baby dolls and could cater to young girls and even young female adults who share the same passion for dolls.And though Barbie has undertaken so many changes since her creation, the doll has remained attuned to the modern and up-to-date fashion styles, with the development in various hairstyles and revolutionized makeup and fashion. Barbie has created an image of fashion and style ever since she was launched into the toy market industry.Truly, Barbie's appeal and glamour remain through the years, despite the so many changes that she has carried out from 1959 to today. Wow, Barbie is already celebrating her 50th birthday this year! I wonder if Mattel will ever produce a grandma Barbie in the future. Well, if they do, it will be a fashionable and glamorous Barbie Grandma for sure!
